Invitation FAQs
This website allows you to browse and order your invitations online. Invitations are sold in quantities of 25, 50, 75, or 100 and each invitation has its own page for each of the quanitities since more you buy the more you save.
To order
1. When you have found the invitation you would like to order. Take a look at your options. These usually include your choice of ink colour for the text, colour of your lined envelope (if applicable), and typestyles/font selections. In addition, you need to know what the invitation is going to say. This is where you need to select the verse you would like and how your names are going to appear. These options are available on every invitation page as a link to a file or image to show your options.
2. Click on wedding details form to fill in your wedding information more clearly. This can also be filled in an submitted to place an order manually.
3. When you are ready to order, return to the invitation page and fill in the option fields on the right of the invitation page and add the item to your cart.
4. To pay for your order. You may pay online with a credit card using PayPal which is a third party company and is secure. The other option is to pay via cheque or money order by filling out the wedding details form and submitting without actually checking out online.
Your order takes up to 6-8 weeks, hopefully less to budget your time wisely.
Proofs are not automatically included, however, you may order a proof if you want to be sure of how your invitation will look. Simply ad a proof to your shoppng cart, they cost $20 as this is not a standard proceedure for our printer.
In-person cosultaions are available in the Sudbury area. Since we are a home-based business, you benefit as I can come to you either in your home or another Sudbury location (ie: Tim Hortons, etc.). This will allow you to see the invitations in person.
Photos on this website may not represent the true colour of the invitation as the colour may show up different that it would in person. If you would like more of a desciption of an invation, please email me at karen.bellaweddings@gmail.com or fill out the contact us form.
Photography FAQs
What does “on location photography” exactly mean?
On location photography includes photography coverage from the bride getting ready, ceremony, and photoshoot. Upon our first meeting, I will discuss with you your schedule for the day and what you would like me to cover. This is all included in the price of your package. Reception coverage is $300 extra.
How many locations are included in the packages?
All of them! Unlike most photographers, we do not charge per location except for the reception. Many brides would like photos where they are getting ready, the ceremony, and a photoshoot location, therefore any travel or change of locations has been considered in our pricing. The only time we add additional fees is for out-of-town weddings, outside the Greater City of Sudbury. This fee is $300 plus accommodations if they are necessary. For example, if your wedding is in Killarney I will add $300 to your invoice, if your wedding is in Barrie I will add $300 plus $ for accommodations.
Are custom packages available?
Yes, please contact me to customize a package for you.
Are substitutions allowed on prints?
I try to gear our packages for the everyday bride and groom, but everyone is different. Minor substitutions are allowed. For example, an 11x14 can be substituted for two 8x10 or a 16x20 for two 11x14s or four 8x10s. Please contact me for more information.
Do you touch up the photos?
Minor touch ups like smoothing out skin tones and blemishes, cropping, and so on will be done on your prints you order. If the package you chose come with proofs, no touch ups will be done, as they are proofs. Special requests can be made for your prints, such as zooming in to make a close up out of a ? length pose.
Do you charge extra for black and white, sepia, or colour accented prints?
No! When ordering prints, you have the choice of Black and White, Sepia tone, colours accented (ie: black and white photo with the bouquet in colour), vignettes, etc for no additional charge. If you are looking for true black and white prints, I must order them from a professional printer located in Southern Ontario. These prints are of higher quality as they can produce authentic black and white tones. These prints are an additional $15 per print. Higher quality, higher price unfortunately. This is usually recommended for the larger black and white prints, such as 16x20s.
Do you have a photography studio?
No, as a newer home-based company and to keep costs low, we do not have a studio. If it rains the day of your wedding, we do have selected backgrounds to use for an on-location studio so you are not left without a photoshoot.
